Waipoua Lodge is 48km north of Dargaville, at the southern entrance to Waipoua Forest (home of the giant kauri trees).

The main building is a grand old villa which has been tastefully convertedto an intimate restaurant & bar offering delicious award-winning cuisine. Stroll the Lodge' gardens and bush tracks or look down 1000 feet and watch a sunset on the Tasman Sea.

Your accommodation is in original farm buildings converted for your comfort.
Our 'Stables', 'Wool Shed' and 'Calf-Pen' were originally exactly what their
names suggest! Each has its own lounge, separate bedroom with en-suite
shower/toilet.
