Located on Armagh Street, just two blocks from Christchurch's city centre and the Cathedral Square, the Devon is on the route of the restored classic tramway. The beautiful old trams pass many attractions, including the Cathedral, Worcester Boulevard, the Arts Centre with its weekend market and the "Court" live theatre, and Canterbury Museum. A short walk from the Devon will take you to the Christchurch Visitor Information Centre, where advice and assistance is available on the wide range of activities and attractions to be experienced in and around Christchurch and the greater Canterbury region. |

| All of our rooms offer complete privacy and comfort.
The beds are all new queen-size doubles and large singles, with hypo-allergenic pillows provided. The Ensuite rooms, of which there are four, have their own bathroom facilities in the room, while the six shared facility rooms have an adjoining bathroom. Guest towels are also provided, and all rooms are serviced daily. |

| The Ensuite bathrooms are modern and feature a shower, hand-basin and toilet facilities, with a shaver point for the gentlemen. There is variable fan heating in each ensuite.
The shared facility rooms have two bathrooms serving two or three guest rooms each. The bathrooms have a shower and/or bath and toilet facilities. The renowned Devon Breakfast is served every morning in our warm and spacious dining room. The breakfast menu offers a choice of Continental breakfast (Cereals, fresh or stewed fruit & yoghurt) or Full cooked breakfast, including bacon, eggs (any style) and sausages. Toasted bread with the best of New Zealand's butter and preserves and freshly brewed tea or coffee is also available. The Devon Tariff includes Full Breakfast and NZ Government 12.5% Goods & Services Tax (GST). Room Types: Two types of room are available: - Ensuite with own private bathroom, or Ensuite Double or Twin 120.00 Ensuite Single 90.00 Shared Double or Twin 95.00 Shared Single 70.00 Additional adults in a room: $20 each.
